Everyone\u2019s got their own ideas about what the workplace of the future will be like. We decided to join in and come up with our own predictions.<\/p>\n

\"10-Workplace-Trends<\/p>\n

This comic was created by\u00a0Elizabeth\u00a0Pich, half of the talent behind\u00a0War and Peas<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Some workplace\u00a0trends are better than others. Take for example the open office: originally praised by designers and architects such as Frank Lloyd Wright, the open office plan was meant to remove\u00a0mental barriers placed on workers through physical separation.<\/p>\n

These open office plans have endured since their inception in the 90s and even grown in popularity, partially due to their cost-effective use of space. Despite employer fervor, there is a growing scholarship pointing out the design\u2019s flaws: lots of distractions<\/a>, stress-inducing<\/a> and collaboration suppression<\/a>, to name a few.<\/p>\n

Despite their flaws, workplace trends will endure. Some might even actually\u00a0help us.\u00a0No matter what you may think of workplace trends, I think we can all agree \u2013 dog yoga is a great idea.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m over workplace trends. What about more comics?<\/h2>\n

In addition to\u00a0putting out a new comic every Thursday,<\/strong>\u00a0we\u2019ve got some great comics in the catalog:<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re a War and Peas fan, you\u2019re in luck. We\u2019ve got a great comic about management tips from beyond the grave plus one about why robots might not be after your job after all.<\/p>\n

If you work for any type of agency, you\u2019ve probably had your fair share of\u00a0these types of clients<\/a>. We\u2019ve\u00a0also done a comic guessing\u00a0what the world would be like if it were created by a programmer.\u00a0<\/a>Or another epic piece about\u00a0how to save the princess using different programming languages.<\/a><\/p>\n
