Less work and better controls for workspace admin<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Reset your project time estimates for your recurring projects<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Recurring Projects is a setting in your project creation dialog that lets you reset your project time or task estimates<\/a> to zero at the end of a designated period. It makes it easy to track the real-time status, budgets and profitability of client projects (even long-term projects) without the extra spreadsheets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recurring projects is available on the Starter plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keep your tags under (admin) control<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Select Admins<\/strong>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Tags in Toggl Track can be a double-edged sword. They\u2019re just so easy to create\u2014for anyone. Now workspace admins have the option to limit access to tag creation. Select Admins<\/strong> in the Workspace > Settings<\/strong> menu under Team member rights<\/strong> to ensure that only your hand-picked workspace admins are the ones creating, editing, and deleting tags. Limiting tag access to admins is a Premium feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Better reports for planning, sleeker reports for sharing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Change billable rates but keep historical rates<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Want to increase client rates or employee salaries? You can change the rates in your workspace without worrying about messing up old reports.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

If your business is doing well, chances are your rates are going up. Now you can change your billable rates but preserve past reports with the original rates\u2014without the tedious workarounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But what if your rates didn\u2019t change, and you just entered the wrong rate? Changing all the rates is still an option too. You get the option to keep historical billable rates for every billable rate level\u2014workspace, workspace member, project, and project member. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whenever you change to a new rate (but keep the old), you’ll be able to see when the rate was changed by hovering over the tooltip icon.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Historical billable rates is a Premium feature. It\u2019s still on beta, so if you\u2019re not already part of our beta program (you can sign up from your Profile settings) just email us at support@track.toggl.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCreated with toggl.com<\/em>\u201d gone from PDF reports<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We pride ourselves on our easily exportable, client-ready reports, and now our reports are even more client-friendly. You\u2019ll no longer see the \u201cCreated with toggl.com\u201d text at the bottom of your PDF exports. Like the ability to add a custom logo to your workspace (and PDF reports), this perk is for those on the Starter plan and up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choose to group (or not group) similar time entries in Detailed Reports<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The key word here is choose<\/em>. You’ve got options.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

You can now turn off the grouping setting for Detailed Reports\u2014but keep grouping similar time entries on your Timer page. Or vice versa. Either way, you now have separate controls for both. Fine-tune your grouping on your Profile settings page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More flexibility for developers<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Toggl Track API v9<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We have a new version of our API available\u2014hello v9! V9 not only looks better<\/a> in its new home on the Toggl Track website (developers.track.toggl.com<\/a>), it also is<\/em> better. Better (clearer) documentation, better performance and stability, and better support for new features. Read more here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Webhooks API<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

No more polling the API, no more delayed updates. Get precise, real-time notifications to your dashboard or app of choice by subscribing directly to Toggl Track events via webhooks. The UI is coming soon, but for now we have the API docs right here<\/a>. When your IT team\u2019s lives get easier, your lives get easier. Webhooks are here to make everyone\u2019s<\/em> lives easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
