You&#8217;re in for a few treats!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the last three months, we\u2019ve added \ud83e\udd41<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A running timer \u23f2\ufe0f with our Plan-Track integration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>More flexible scheduling to recurring tasks \ud83d\udcc5<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>New client timeline to overview a client\u2019s ongoing projects \ud83d\udcb0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One-tap task scheduling on mobile devices \ud83d\udcf1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And more<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s get started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Toggl Track integration improvements<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve constantly improved our time-tracking integration with Toggl Track over the last few quarters. Quickly locate the browser tab and stop the timer when you need to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The timer also syncs across all open tabs for the same Toggl Plan workspace\u2014you&#8217;ll never lose track of your running timer again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Improved Plan-Track sync<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>With the Plan-Track integration, you can track time directly from a Toggl Plan task.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This works for most team members who spend their time working on tasks in Toggl Plan. However, some users need to use both apps at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Theoretically, you should be able to start the time in one app and stop it in another. Practically, there were some challenges in getting this to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new update fixes this. It automatically syncs the timer in Plan and Track\u2014a slight improvement, but it makes all the difference when using both apps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both these new integration updates are currently available only on the web app. You need a<a href=\"https:\/\/toggl.com\/plan\/pricing\"> Team or Business plan<\/a> subscription and set up the<a href=\"https:\/\/support.plan.toggl.com\/article\/172-toggl-track-integration\" target=\"_blank\"> Toggl Plan-Track integration<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Flexible scheduling for recurring tasks<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Scheduling recurring tasks is more versatile than ever before. For example, you can schedule bi-weekly, every X weeks, or quarterly tasks and meetings equally quickly.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This feature is available for Team and Business plan subscribers on both mobile and web apps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Client timeline overview<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At Toggl Plan, we&#8217;ve always prioritized providing a clear overview of your project and team schedules. The Project and Team timelines make it easy to see who\u2019s doing what and when. Plus, you can visualize your team\u2019s capacity to understand who can take on more work (or who\u2019s overwhelmed).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve added another overview this quarter\u2014the Client timeline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video autoplay loop src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/progressive_redirect\/playback\/816513624\/rendition\/720p\/file.mp4?loc=external&amp;signature=af0d7b6059b5eea3ca0ac5067445b3da8469bd6ab8d6f3675f52e27bd9550a2e\" playsinline><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>With this overview, you can see all of a client\u2019s ongoing projects on one timeline.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result, it\u2019s easy for you (and your client) to visualize work and progress across all projects in one place. Plus, it\u2019s straightforward to reprioritize work or adjust the schedule for a specific client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, this feature is available on the web app only. You\u2019ll also need a Team or Business plan subscription to see the Client timeline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>One-tap task scheduling on mobile<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With our mobile apps (<a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.teamweek.android.app\" target=\"_blank\">Android<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/toggl-plan\/id1242738862\" target=\"_blank\">iOS<\/a>), you can now simply click on the timeline to schedule a task.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This feature is already available on the web app. We added it to our mobile apps in the last quarter. Managers and team members can now schedule tasks and meetings with a single tap, even on the go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Quality of life improvements<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>While you try out the new features above, don\u2019t miss these two usability improvements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Refresh timelines on a new day \ud83c\udf1e<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Previously, if you left your workstation on, you needed to manually refresh Toggl Plan to begin a new day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No more.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toggl Plan now detects a new day and automatically reloads. So you\u2019re always looking at an up-to-date timeline when you start your day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Taskbox usability improvements \ud83d\udce5<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/support.plan.toggl.com\/article\/177-taskbox\" target=\"_blank\">Taskbox<\/a> lets you keep track of your unscheduled, unassigned, or draft tasks.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This quarter we made <a href=\"https:\/\/support.plan.toggl.com\/article\/178-tags-and-segments\" target=\"_blank\">Segments<\/a> always visible on the Taskbox. This way, you can easily add new tasks to a Segment or move tasks between Segments in the Taskbox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What are Segments? Like Tags, Segments are a way to organize your project\u2019s tasks.
