The Role

We are looking for a technical Data Analyst with experience in business intelligence or a similar role that involves data modeling, statistical analysis and developing SQL-based data transformations using an enterprise-ready data warehouse. The salary for this position is €58,000 annually. You can work from anywhere in the world.

As an integral part of the business intelligence team, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Developing, automating, and taking ownership of data models, analyses, and visualisations that empower our awesome, remote-first team to make informed decisions.
  • Answering open ended questions by extracting deep insights from datasets.
  • Producing automated reports on top of a data warehouse.
  • Keeping things accurate and reliable by writing data tests, troubleshooting data pipelines, and digging into source code.

About the Team

We are a global team of 100+ awesome people working from over 40 countries around the globe. We hire globally, you work locally—in the heart of London, a beach outside of São Paulo, or a quiet village near Florence, the choice is yours. Every few months we travel to meet up somewhere in the world and spend some quality time together. About You

You will be a good fit with the Toggl BI team if you thrive in the sweet spot between business acumen and technical know-how.

In particular, we would love to hear from you if:

  • You have strong instincts and judgment about the business-side implications of data analysis and you pride yourself on writing performant, easy-to-read SQL.
  • You are as comfortable working with git, the command line, and dev environments as you are collaborating with business stakeholders at all levels of seniority to understand their data needs.
  • Your written communication is clear and you have the ability to distill complex ideas into accurate and easily understandable takeaways will be keys to your success.
  • You have experience working with BI tools, data modeling layers, 3rd-party API integrations, and data orchestration tools that will help you get going from day one.
