What’s New In Q3 2024: Toggl Track Goals, Audit Log, Historical Labor Costs, And More

Toggl Track Goals

Stay on top of your priorities and focus on what matters most. You can now set specific time tracking targets for tasks, projects, or billable time.

Personal Goals are available in Free plan. Team-level goals are available to admins in Starter, Premium and Enterprise plans.

Audit Log

Admins can now get visibility into Project and Time Entry changes made by team members in the Organization. Trust the accuracy of your data, and troubleshoot your organization right away.

More entities will be added to the Audit Log soon — stay tuned!

Audit Log is available to admins in Premium and Enterprise plans.

Auto-Track Calendar Events

Calendar integration has been described as a “killer feature” and helps teams save 80 hours weekly on time tracking.

We’ve made turning your calendar events into time entries even easier. Simply enable “Auto-tracking,” and it will automatically convert your calendar events into time entries — no extra clicks needed.

This feature is available in all plans.

Historical Labor Costs: Edit Retroactively or Schedule Future Changes

You can now adjust labor costs for the past, present, and future. This ensures accurate and reliable profitability reports, safeguarding your business’s financial health.

Historical Labor Costs are available in Premium and Enterprise plans.

Enforce Billable-Only Rates on Billable Projects

Ensure that every time entry is billable for billable projects, leaving no room for errors or additional admin work.

To enable this feature, the Workspace Admin should go to Settings and select “Do not allow non-billable time entries” under Project & Billing defaults > Entry Creation.

This feature is available to admins in Starter, Premium and Enterprise plans.

Add User Groups to Shared Time Entries

A useful upgrade to Shared Time Entries on Desktop and Mobile apps: you can now add user groups to ensure a time entry appears on everyone’s account. Simply type ‘+’ in the time entry description and select the user group you want to add.

Pin Your Key Projects

Make your key projects just a click away — pin your most-used ones to keep them at your fingertips when creating time entries.

This feature is available in all plans.

Group Tasks and Projects With The Same Description

Do you have similar tasks or projects, like “Meetings”, “Customer Calls”, or “Emails”, across different clients? You can now group them in Analytics to see the total time spent on them, even if they belong to different clients.
