The Dos and Don’ts of Business Etiquette [Comic]

Emma Murray Emma Murray Last Updated:

Figuring out how best to act at work can be tough. In case you find yourself confused about what may or may not fly in a business setting, we’ve made a comic to help you out:

business-comic

This comic was created by Extra Fabulous Comics for the Toggl Team – the people behind the world’s no. 1 time tracking app.

Let’s face it, the simplest advice is often the hardest to follow. When projects get tough and stress creeps into your routine, soft skills can be the first things to suffer.

Take a moment to remind yourself that these small adjustments make a world of difference for both your own performance and your coworkers’ happiness, even if you may not work in an office

I’ve transformed myself into a consummate business professional. What have you guys been doing?

On top of creating some pretty sweet new comics, we’ve also released our new Toggl iOS app.

Users have called it ‘a game changer’, ‘easy to use,’ and ‘if you’re making all these apps and do-dad things on the phone, why don’t you call us more?’ And while we appreciate the feedback from our developer’s moms, we’d love it if you took it for a spin too.

Can I see the comics?

Yeah, totally! If your company is sticking you on an airplane (or, you know, you go on vacation) you may want to check out our airport survival guide.

We’ve also used dinosaurs to explain different issues freelancers deal with when working with clients.

If you happen to be in the business of developing software, you might enjoy this epic piece about how the world might be a little different if it were created by a programmer.

We’ll also keep doing these comics, so like us on Facebook and follow us on Instagram if you want these delivered directly to where you waste all your time anyway! We also post on LinkedIn if you want to pretend you’re doing work.

If you have any ideas for the next one, or if you think we’ve missed an essential part of business professionalism, let us know where it says “Comments”
