Toggl is Now Our Flagship Product!

We’re proud to announce that Toggl (what we’ve been calling Toggl 2.0 for the past few months and Toggl Focus before that) is now our flagship product!

This change is the result of months of hard work on building and improving the new Toggl experience — on web, mobile, and desktop. Today, this new experience is the default for everyone who signs up for Toggl.

Why make this change?

As we built the world’s most trusted time tracker, it was time to expand to what our customers wanted — capacity, profitability, and work planning. Put simply, the new Toggl is a natural continuation of what we already do best — no-friction, privacy-first time tracking for teams — combined with:

• Project management: Kanban boards, Gantt charts, and an online calendar planner make it easy to plan and manage tasks visually. The new experience gives you just enough structure to stay on top of tasks, timelines, and workloads, without the drag of complex tools.
• Capacity and resource planning: Reliable time data, coupled with complete time off tracking, visual timelines, and workload views, replace capacity assumptions with facts. Toggl now gives you the time, availability, and workload data you need to spot conflicts early and prevent burnout.
• Project dashboards: Toggl’s new Project Dashboard gives you everything you need to know about a project into one view — time tracked vs. estimated, billable vs. non-billable hours, billable amounts, and a forecasted end date that updates as more time gets logged.

Again, this is all based on the foundation of what Toggl does best — easy and reliable time tracking, coupled with advanced reporting. We’ve worked hard to ensure that ease of use remains at the core of our product while building new, powerful work planning capabilities on top of it.

What about Toggl Track?

This change does not mean Toggl Track is being sunset as a product. If you already have a Track account, you can keep using it the same as before — on web, desktop, or mobile. The product is supported by our team for existing users, with no forced migrations or sunset date.
